Meet The Team

Lee Davies MNAEA

Lee is renowned as the snappy dresser of the office, perhaps stemming from his secret past as a professional dancer. Now, if you can clear your mind of the image of Lee performing whatever dance you’re currently imagining (we’re not sure we can) then you might also like to know that in addition to the old chestnuts of walking, drinking passionfruit martinis and socialising, Lee also admits to a weekly thrashing at squash by his pensioner father and regularly having his food stolen by his two kids. To make up for it he’s hoping they will make him millions as professional footballers…

Cassie Bowler

Cassie breezed into the team in July 2013 bringing with her a huge personality and an endless array of personal interests! She proudly proclaims herself current ‘Sunday Dinner’ champion in the ‘close family league’, a title she has held for over 6 years now with her ‘almost good’ chicken, ham and leek pie (not THAT close then eh, Cassie?). She proclaims the biggest love in her life to be her children, but between her crazy side, love of gin and cats, she’s becoming the perfect recipe for a Cat lady.

Chelsea Dawson

Having being within the industry for over 10 years Chelsea has all the knowledge and experience to help you along the way. Chelsea is a local girl, born and bred in Stafford. Having a passion for property from day one, she started her career as a conveyancing secretary at a firm of solicitors in Stone, a skill that she puts to great use every day, and now focuses on the sales side of things helping to get you moving from the moment you choose to view a property through to handing over those keys on completion! When not working in the office, Chelsea is a real girly girl spending most of her time with her two boys and lovable pooch.

Anna Law

Local girl Anna joined the Eccleshall Team bringing heaps of local knowledge and industry knowledge with her 7 years ago! Having lived in Eccleshall for most of her life then moving just a village over to the East embracing her newly married life, bumping into someone she knows is a regular occurrence. Ambitious and driven Anna is also a fitness fanatic and can often be found with a pair of glow sticks in hand teaching “Clubbercise” or other fun activities that make exercise more fun!! This Duracell bunny just keeps on going!

Saskia Hall

With a keen interest in fancy cars and all things luxurious and having just completed her law degree, Saskia felt the urge to take her career in the direction of property sales, and who can blame her, now she gets to see these wonderful homes (and a posh car or two) rather than just talking about them. Living locally to our Eccleshall office, she knows the area well and lives up to the rural life with her horses and dogs being her biggest interests outside of work. That being said, whilst stable visits and long dog walks are daily tasks, it’s just as regular an occurrence for the parcels from her online shopping addiction to arrive. A girl has to treat herself though right?

Alex Purcell

Joining us fresh out of University after completing a course in Fashion Photography down in the big smoke, Alex has all of the skills and creativity to make sure your house stands out from the crowd when it comes to marketing. Alex spends her days visiting our lovely clients’ homes, photographing them and getting them market-ready so the rest of the team can focus on getting them sold! When not at work, Alex has a close-knit group of friends who she spends a lot of time with, not forgetting the beloved Cooper, her four-legged bestie!

Benjamin Mole

Benjamin has professed his love for Team JDP, especially those in Eccleshall who help everyday run smoothly (and keeps things fun along the way!). Outside of work, you’ll usually find him staying active or catching up with friends. And here’s a fun one—Benjamin never misses his monthly boys’ curry night, where the challenge is to find a new spot every time. He’s basically on a mission to discover the best curry around!

Chloe Gretton

At JDP, there’s never a dull moment, and Chloe loves being part of such an enthusiastic, friendly, and supportive team. She’s excited to see what the future holds and to continue growing with the company. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys walking her little dog Archie, spending weekends with friends for girly days (often accompanied by a gin or two… or four!), and doing a spot of shopping. As if she has any more time on her hands, she has a keen interest in all things beauty and a fun, creative hobby doing lashes that she loves and dedicates her evenings to.

Grant Haining

Outside of work, Grant loves spending his time baking up something delicious or practising his ballroom and Latin dancing skills. He’s even taken to the famous Winter Gardens stage in Blackpool, what an achievement and career highlight! We have asked him to give James some lessons before the next Christmas Party and if that fails, bringing in some sweet treats will go down well!

Sharon Bowers

Sharon loves being part of the James Du Pavey team, describing everyone as friendly, supportive, and always smiling. She also enjoys meeting new people and getting to know those viewing the properties she shows.

Outside of work, Sharon likes to spend her time gardening, doing pilates, and meeting up with family and friends. She’s a sociable, fun-loving person who enjoys a good laugh and never misses a chance to joke around.

Lisa Leah

Outside of work, Lisa loves spending time walking with her husband and their Cocker Spaniels, Otis and Jo. She’s also kept busy renovating their house—a project she enjoys getting stuck into.

A fun (and maybe slightly unusual!) fact about Lisa: after someone once told her that girls don’t fly helicopters, she decided to prove them wrong. She took flying lessons and went on to earn her helicopter licence—a challenge she’s incredibly proud of achieving.

Annie Basford

With a real passion for houses and interiors, Annie loves exploring the fabulous properties she visits as a Viewing Representative. A natural people-person, she enjoys meeting clients and thrives in the professional yet fun atmosphere at James Du Pavey.

When she’s not working, Annie spends her time with family and friends, enjoying meals out, a good bottle of wine, and tending to her garden. She also loves relaxing by the wood burner with a great book.

In 2023, she rescued a pony who has since grown into a cheeky, loveable character—challenging at times, but always entertaining.

Abigail Watts

Outside of work, Abby loves staying active and spends most of her evenings at the gym. At the weekends, you’ll usually find her exploring new coffee shops in search of the perfect iced vanilla latte. With over 3 years of experience in the property industry, Abby has negotiated on many properties during her time and brings a confident, knowledgeable approach to her work. Since joining the team, she has really enjoyed being part of such a positive and supportive environment where everyone is always happy to help.

James Du Pavey BSc (Hons) DipREA FNAEA

James founded the company in 2010 as a fresh-faced newlywed. Many years later both the business, and thankfully his marriage, are still going strong! From starry-eyed graduate to well-weathered industry bigwig, he is now thought of as an industry leader and top-level innovator presenting at national conferences, winning loads of awards each year and sitting on the National Advisory Council of the Guild of Property Professionals.

Emily Stokes BA(Hons)

Having started her career in the property industry down in “that there London Town” Emily came back home in 2015 and joined the JDP family over in our Eccleshall Branch as a negotiator opting for a quieter, greener lifestyle for a while. Now she works along side James, helping to keep our ship afloat and moving forward whilst heading up our rental department as well. When we give her a spare minute she likes to head on back to the city to enjoy some of the hustle and bustle she once saw every day or heads off in the opposite direction packing up the car and heading off to find a quiet spot to set up camp and relax for a few days with just the sea and sand to keep her company.

Elisha Fennell

Elisha started young as our Saturday girl and we just couldn’t put her off so she’s joined us full time. She progressed and became in demand to all teams across all four offices providing help from keeping on top of the admin through to all of our social media content. As much as we love Elisha for her video editing skills, she is also a whizz with flowers and making amazing cocktails. Can’t think why we have her on board!

James Latham BA (Hons)

James is a dabber through and through, but was last seen working in Nantwich on a milk round at the age of 14. He assures us that he has gained considerable experience in the Cheshire property market since then, working in several different towns and agencies since 1996 and has finally come home to roost. In the rare hours we don’t have his nose forcibly pressed to the grindstone James is a huge movie and music buff, and has recently branched out into after dinner entertainment sessions with a guitar but draws the line at singing. Rather concerningly for us he cites his other great passions as holidays with his family and drinking Bourbon; we love honesty but ‘drinking and being away from work’ aren’t ideal CV fillers!

Shelly Margolan

Not only did Shelly join us bringing with her 15 years in the business, she also massively upped our fitness quota. In fact we think she does enough exercise to offset everybody else! When she’s not busy climbing mountains she likes to sneak in half marathons here and there. Then, just to give the feet a bit of a rest she’ll just hop out of a plane for a quick skydive, you know, as you do!

Jack Dale BA (Hons)

Jack seems to be a bit of a social butterfly not only describing himself as ‘a people person’ but also listing ‘spending time with family and friends’, in addition to ‘loves a party and going out with friends’ in his personal profile. Add in the fact he loves football, what more can we say you’re a friendly chap! Having been part of the team in Nantwich for a number of years now, Jack has progressed to tackle the job of valuations and we have to say, he is doing a Stirling job. Sharon Bickerstaffe

Born and bred in Nantwich, Sharon is a familiar face around town and an expert when it comes to past, present and future planned events. She’s settled in as the mum of the office spoiling the team with her fantastic brews whilst her days off are spent looking after her two teenagers at home and taking the dog for a long walk to help wind down. Not content with only helping her immediate friends and family, Sharon is also a member of the Nantwich Buddies becoming a shoulder to lean on and helping hand to the wider community! She’s all about listening and helping – the perfect combination of skills when helping you to find your next home!

Niamh Hill

Niamh is a true ambassador to the motto “Work hard so we can play hard!” and we can’t blame her, it’s the recipe for a healthy lifestyle in our opinion! When she’s not being an all-rounder in the office, listing properties, carrying out viewings or progressing sales, Niamh spends her time working hard in the gym, exploring new places and fitting in some well-earned drinks with friends! Sounds like the perfect balance to us.

Sam Gloag

Sam joined us during 2023, coming to Team Nantwich with a wealth of experience within the industry and being fairly local, has spectacular knowledge of the area. What a treasure she is! When we give her some time off from selling houses, Sam likes to spends her time with family and her adorable fur babies when at home and surrounds herself with wonderful friends out and about as the life and soul of the party.

Sophie Cain

Joining is with a wealth of experience within the Cheshire Market, Sophie has embraced Nantwich life and can always be found taking part in any activity we throw at her, whether that be photographs of your homes to list, negotiating on your sale or joining the team for drinks after work to celebrate a successful week! We can count on Sophie! Outside of work, shes just as much of a social butterfly as she is in the office, she never seems to sit still! Can we have a little share of that energy Soph?!

Brad Stevens

Brad loves that no two days at JDP are ever the same! From meeting all kinds of people to exploring a huge variety of properties, he thrives on the buzz and enjoys being part of such a supportive, friendly team. Outside of work, Brad’s always on the move, whether he’s playing hockey, hitting the golf course, or squeezing in a swim, he’s rarely sitting still for long. And when he’s not in action mode, he’s probably hopping on a plane! In the last seven months alone, Brad’s managed to visit five different countries, he’s always planning his next adventure!

Simon Parker

Outside of work, Simon loves cooking and spending quality time with his family—two things that usually go hand in hand. He’s also a proud season ticket holder at Crewe Alex, rarely missing a match.

For Simon, the best part of working at James Du Pavey is the people. His Team Nantwich family is incredible, and he’s equally grateful for the warm, welcoming colleagues he’s met across the business.

A fun fact about Simon: he was once gifted a cider press and now enjoys making his own scrumpy. It’s delicious—but definitely not one for a school night!

Catrina Horsley MNAEA

Catrina started our Stone office all those years ago and is an absolute cornerstone of team JDP as our longest serving member, for which she deserves a medal. She claims to be too busy to have hobbies but does squeeze in walking the office dog Tyla, shopping, spending time with her family and baking. That’s more hobbies than any of the rest of the team, not bad for someone with no spare time!

Kelly Chaplin

People person Kelly puts store in the old adage of carpe diem and tries to have a good old laugh every day. That’s a pretty easy ambition once working at James Du Pavey, having seen some of James’ famous ‘fashion forward’ moments! When not giggling at the boss’s ties Kelly enjoys making her own house a home with cosy nights in giving into a small online shopping addiction and spending valuable time with her friends and family. With over 15 years of experience behind her she claims the best part of her many successful years in the business has been the opportunity to meet new people, ah, bless!

Lola Green

As the mother of twins fast approaching their teenage years, Lola’s time is rarely her own! The family enjoy spending time together and like spending time at theme parks. When not being whizzed around on the teacups Lola will spend time on those old chestnuts of going shopping, socialising and eating. With the number of people she has helped to move home, we think that it’s well deserved!

Margo Evans

Margo is one of those people who can’t stand to stand still. With more industry knowledge than even a Samba dancer could shake a stick at, we wanted to know more about what makes her tick! Top of the list came travelling and organising parties, specifically for other people (but we suspect she might enjoy them too!) with a busy social calendar with friends and family and holidays all over the world. Food also made the hobbies list, with not only cooking and baking but since the pandemic hit, she also likes to grow her own produce with fresh salad and veg from the garden now on the menu! So, putting the office day job to the side, with unparalleled levels of experience, party organising and tip-top food offerings, we are thrilled that Margo is part of the team!

Pippa Atkin

Pippa started right at the beginning at JDP towers, as one of our work experience students and impressed us so much we asked her back for more, but promised to pay her this time! Pippa has always been local to Eccleshall growing up and living on a farm with her sister then moving to Stone to buy her own home. She loves a good cuppa, long walks in the country, time with friends and family and has a weak spot online shopping proudly proclaiming she gets “more parcels delivered than parcel force”.

Jessica Bevington

Having studied Criminology and Sociology at university, Jess loves a good investigation and pricing your house within the moving market is one of her top investigative skills! Full of energy and unable to say no to even the craziest of plans, Jess is a true ambassador for Team Stone and is the brains behind all things social media and community involvement.

Laura Bird

Having only ever lived in her Staffordshire home village, Laura is a self confessed country bumpkin with a love of all things rural and the open green space surrounding her home that she shares with her partner, little boy and fur babies. When she’s not selling houses with Team JDP, Laura loves to spend her time shopping with her friends and spontaneous trips away to see new places!

Katie Wood

Ticking things off her to-do list is one of Katie’s favourite things to do and recently having spent 2 years living in Sydney before returning home back to her family, that life-changing trip down under has a big tick next to it! Now sunny Staffordshire isn’t quite as spectacular as the Aussie coastline, but we understand the draw back home! Especially when time away from the office is filled with cuddles and walks from some four-legged friends, helping with her family-run doggy day care. Don’t worry though, it’s not all hard work, whilst over in Australia, Katie developed a keen coffee addiction and (as a self-proclaimed coffee snob) loves to go out to visit coffee shops and cafes with her friends sneaking in city bus tour when she’s somewhere new.

Tyla

The bestest boy and office dog original! Tyla comes to work on time every day! Is calm and collected gently glancing up to supervise the team every few hours and keep them all in check! Quite possibly the calmest puppy we know!

Courtenay Clements

Having joined us from the hospitality industry, Courtenay knows her stuff when it comes to listening to the needs of clients and how to handle a fast-paced environment, making her fit in with Team Stone just perfectly! In charge of rallying the team to take part with the social media team and keeping the channels up to date, Courtenay is the brains behind our short videos updating you on all things buying and selling whilst keeping us on our toes with the latest trends.

Elle Coope

Our resident Property Marketing Executive to Team Stone, Elle is responsible for getting your home up and running on the market and ready for sale. When not working on listings, Elle likes to present your homes on our Social Media channels being the queen of the property walk through videos. It’s not all about sellilng homes, Elle enjoys her fitness and journey and spending time outdoors with her lovable puppy! It’s all go but in a good way!

Jamie Campion

Jamie is one of our very important players, spending his time showing you around all of our lovely homes that are on the market. A busy diary is Jamie’s favourite thing to see, knowing that he is out and about around the area that we work in, getting the chance to meet buyers and working with them to find their dream homes!

Kaitlyn Owens

Outside of work, Kaitlyn loves catching up with friends—whether that’s going for a walk down the canal or enjoying dinner and a glass of wine. She also enjoys keeping active with a bit of running and the occasional gym session! Since joining JDP, Kaitlyn has loved being part of such a positive and supportive team where everyone’s always happy to help. A fun fact about Kaitlyn: she can’t walk past a museum without going in! She loves travelling to new places to explore their museums and beautiful architecture.

Helen Moseley

Helen loves the variety her role brings and the chance to really connect with clients each day. She enjoys helping people through their property journeys and finds it so rewarding to be part of a team that truly cares about delivering great service. Outside of work, Helen makes the most of her downtime by catching up with family and friends or simply taking time to relax. A fun fact about Helen: she’s a bit of an adventurer! After time living in Canada and in London, she’s now settled in Stafford to be closer to family and she couldn’t be happier about it.

Ella Proctor

Outside of work, Ella loves making the most of her free time, whether that’s travelling, trying out new restaurants, or spending quality time with family and friends. She also enjoys keeping active with walks and gym sessions to unwind after a busy day selling houses. While travelling through Thailand, one of her favourite stops was Buri Ram, where she lived like a local and even joined in with Buddhist practices, an experience she’ll never forget! Ella joined the team this year and has settled in well, enjoying how everyone’s so supportive and always happy to share their knowledge.

Caroline Challinor

Outside of work, Caroline spends much of her time lovingly restoring her 400-year-old Grade II listed cottage and tending to its large garden. As mum to one cat and three dogs, she enjoys plenty of long walks, and she’s happiest camping in Cornwall—her favourite place—where she loves cliff walks and daily sea swims. A big live-music fan, she admits to spending a little too much on concert tickets, with Stereophonics topping the list.

Having first experienced James Du Pavey as a customer, Caroline now sees from the inside just how hard the team works behind the scenes. She values the company’s commitment to excellent customer care and its genuine support for staff, making it a truly wonderful place to work.

A fun fact about Caroline: she once appeared on BBC’s Bargain Hunt with her husband—and not only made a rare profit, but won the coveted Golden Gavel!

Karen Horsley

Karen loves spending time outdoors walking her dog, and even enjoys the occasional run—weather permitting! When the weather isn’t so kind, she’s happiest reading or getting creative with various crafts, including jewellery making.

She has found James Du Pavey to be a warm, welcoming, and informative place to work. With her love of meeting people and her interest in houses, the role is the perfect blend, offering her a truly enjoyable experience.

A fun fact about Karen: she used to blow glass—a unique and impressive skill that not many people can claim!

Charlotte Salt

Charlotte brings a wealth of experience within the property industry, combined with a warm and personable approach that clients instantly feel at ease with.

Outside of work, Charlotte is a true family person who loves nothing more than spending quality time with her partner and children. Whether it’s family days out, making memories at home, or enjoying time together, family is at the heart of everything she does — a value that shines through in her caring and approachable nature both personally and professionally.

Stephen Peckham-Morris

After swapping the bright lights of London for the charming streets of Staffordshire, Stephen’s journey has been nothing short of legendary. Following a brief spell in our Eccleshall office, he’s now firmly settled in Stone and proudly wears his self-proclaimed title of our very own “Wolf of Stone” (a slightly more PG version of the Wolf of Wall Street).

Known for his sharp negotiation skills, infectious energy, and ability to sniff out a great opportunity from a mile away, Stephen has quickly become a familiar face in the local market. Whether he’s helping buyers find their dream home or guiding sellers through the moving process, he brings enthusiasm, dedication, and just the right amount of cheeky charm to every client interaction.

When he’s not closing deals or talking property, you’ll likely find Stephen enjoying the best of Staffordshire/Cheshire life, proving that you really can take the man out of London… but you can’t take away the hustle.

Ellie Crick

Ellie is a true country girl at heart, happiest when she’s outdoors exploring the countryside, heading off on a long walk, or squeezing in a Pilates class before the day begins. When she’s not lost in a good book, she’s usually planning her next adventure — having already travelled the length of New Zealand in a camper van and volunteered in both Bolivia and Peru.

Bringing a warm, friendly approach and a love for meeting new people, Ellie combines her adventurous spirit with a genuine passion for helping clients find the perfect place to call home.
