The festive season is upon us once again, and our towns are getting ready to shine! As the countdown to Christmas begins, we thought we would share details of the upcoming Christmas Light Switch On events taking place across the towns where our offices are based.

These wonderful community events are a highlight of the local calendar, bringing together families, friends, and local businesses to celebrate the magic of Christmas. From live music and market stalls to the all-important moment the lights are switched on, each event promises to be full of festive cheer.

Here’s when the celebrations are happening near you:

Stone – Thursday 20th November
The festive fun begins in Stone, where the town centre will come alive from 5pm with live performances, stalls, rides and plenty of festive activities. Lights turn on at 7pm, it’s the perfect way to get into the spirit and support local businesses!

Nantwich – Friday 21st November
Next up, Nantwich will be lighting up the skies with its much-loved Christmas switch on event at 7pm. Expect a vibrant evening from 3pm filled with live music, market stalls, and special guest – actor, Ben Miller.

Cheadle – Saturday 22nd November
Cheadle’s Christmas lights extravaganza promises another afternoon of celebration from 2pm, with live entertainment, food stalls, fair rides, penguin hut and Santas grotto! Lights switch on at 5pm, don’t miss this wonderful community atmosphere.

Eccleshall – Sunday 30th November
Rounding off the festivities, Eccleshall’s lights will be switched on at the end of the month. The high street from 12pm will be brimming with Christmas charm — from carol singing to treasure trails, food and live music. Or take a wonder over to the holy trinity church and visit Santa and walk around the Christmas tree festival, look out for ours!

We’re proud to have our offices based in these fantastic towns, and we love seeing our communities come together to celebrate this special time of year.

From all of us at James Du Pavey, we wish you a magical Christmas season filled with joy, laughter, and light!
