Celebrating Market Drayton’s Gingerbread Heritage

As the Home of Gingerbread, Market Drayton is steeped in culinary history — and the Ginger and Spice Festival celebrates it perfectly. This year’s event was bursting with delicious local food, live cookery demonstrations, artisan stalls, music, and family fun.

We were especially delighted to support the Food Theatre, where talented local chefs and food experts showed off their skills and inspired everyone with creative, mouth-watering recipes. The atmosphere was buzzing all weekend, and the passion for great local produce really shone through.

Being part of this much-loved Market Drayton event gave us the chance to meet so many friendly faces — from local residents and small businesses to visitors discovering the town for the first time. The conversations, laughter, and sense of community made it a truly memorable experience.
